Key Performance Metrics —
29 Benchmarks of Success

Learn What's Included In Each Report

MockVue Standard AI Reports deliver a high-level evaluation of your interview performance across the various components that make up our four foundational assessment categories. Each of the 29 individual metrics is scored quantitatively and accompanied by qualitative feedback. All clients receive a Standard Report by default, in addition to any advanced reports covered in their selected MockVue package.

Maximizing KPIs Assessed

Please be advised that the information you provide in your MockVue intake form is critical to enabling a full evaluation of your interview performance—particularly with regard to candidate fit. Many aspects of the assessment rely on contextual understanding, including role-specific expectations, organizational culture, and other content-sensitive criteria. Additionally, if your chosen interview question or response style does not allow for the evaluation of certain performance indicators (e.g., technical competencies in a purely behavioral response), those metrics will remain unscored. We encourage you to consider this when selecting or customizing your interview prompt to ensure the broadest and most meaningful feedback.

How you speak—the tone, pace, clarity, and vocabulary you use—can significantly influence how you're perceived. AI  often draws inferences about a candidate’s confidence, demeanor, professionalism, intelligence, and even emotional stability based on vocal patterns.

Voice is an intrinsic property and therefore does not accurately reflect these facets. Be proactive in discovering if you are at risk of unfair judgments.

Content, Candidate Fit & Structure

Most employers custom-program AI screening tools with specific attributes and skills to prioritize. Additionally, hiring systems are highly sensitive to the structure of a response. Failure to supply a precise narrative mirroring the pre-set criteria disadvantages canidates.

Interviewees who employ high-impact, strategic language are favored. MockVue reports assist in reframing your performance to fit this formula.

Nonverbal Communication

Hiring platforms analyze nuanced nonverbal cues—elements that are often more fluid and intuitive in in-person settings. In virtual interviews, these signals are scrutinized by AI. The biggest challenge is knowing how  you're perceived— not what will be appraised.

Excelling in this performance category is imperative, and begins with self-awareness of how the algorithm perceives you.

At the heart of first-round interviews is determining if your personality and characteristics position you to thrive long-term. Traits that indicate future success in a firm's work environment carry substantial weight. Technical expertise is typically tested later in the process.

Behavioral assessments are the most common type of digital interview; this sector is foremost in proceeding to the next round.
