A: MockVue AI reports and analyses are highly customizable to fit the interview you are preparing for. You have the opportunity to personalize your MockVue when you fill out your submission form, including interview length and question(s). Additionally, a plethora of guiding questions help build context-awareness— your answers shape how your KPIs are appraised. While there are additional spaces for individualization, the fundamentals cover: 

• Target Industry and Role: Selecting your field (e.g., consulting, medicine, design) allows the AI and human reviewers to assess whether your responses reflect field-specific expectations such as structure, tone, domain knowledge, and buzzwords.

• Interview Type: Choosing to practice for a behavioral, technical, situational, case-based, or competency-based interview informs the weighting of feedback across content, delivery, and logical structuring. A behavioral interview may focus more on narrative coherence and culture-personality compatibility, whereas technical interviews prioritize industry knowledge and expertise.

• Organizational Culture or Role Dynamics: You can indicate whether the role is more collaborative, client-centered, independent, or performance-based. This helps the analysis assess if your tone, teamwork emphasis, or interpersonal framing matches the environment. For instance:

  1. Client-centered roles benefit from warmth, professionalism, and stakeholder-focused answers.

  2. Collaborative roles are evaluated for team-first language, shared credit, and mutual problem-solving.

A:  At minimum, users must submit a clear video recording of their practice interview, target job title, description, industry, and a valid email address to receive their report. You are not required to provide your real name, typical email address, where you are applying to work, or any identifying details to use our service. What you share remains discrete and is entirely optional.

A: No, all purchases are final. Refunds are not offered once a package has been purchased.

Q: Why does MockVue analyze videos pre-recorded by users instead of conducting live interview session?
A: MockVue AI requires users to upload a recorded video rather than completing a live session for three primary reasons:

• This approach allows candidates to rehearse and re-record their answers to ensure their best performance is captured—especially important given that users pay for the service and should be able to fully benefit from it without the risk of a single poor take.

• Our focus is not simulating the virtual interview experience. There are a number of methods that support interview practice in real-life conditions, including those offered by HireVue. We encourage individuals to take advantage of these opportunities. However, MockVue provides what they don’t: comprehensive feedback on your performance to help you understand how you are judged by AI.

• We intentionally avoid duplicating the interface of proprietary hiring platforms to steer clear of intellectual property concerns.

Q: Why does it take 24–48 hours to receive an interview analysis report?
A: The 24–48 hour turnaround time is necessary because all submitted practice interviews undergo manual upload, review, and oversight. Additionally, each AI-generated report is audited by human reviewers to ensure it meets our quality standards. In cases where submission issues or data quality problems arise, follow-up with the user may be required, further contributing to the review window.

Q: How does MockVue handle user data?

A: We do not share or sell your information with any third-party platforms, recruiters, or employers.  We only process the videos and job-related materials you upload for the sole purpose of generating your interview analysis. 

• Personal details, such as your name, contact, payment information, and the data you save on your account portal, are kept securely in the MockVue system and used only so customers can receive their reports, manage their orders, and have an improved user experience. 

• Your MockVue video and the information you choose to supply related to the job and interview during customization are used as input to the AI systems utilized in our interview analysis and report processes for personalization and optimization. These algorithms have no access to intelligence on your identity and do not use facial recognition technologies. 

• Human reviewers on the MockVue team may access files briefly to audit report quality.
